Construction Planning & Execution
Lead and manage all offshore construction activities in accordance with the approved project schedule, budget, quality standards, and ADNOC Offshore requirements.
Develop and implement the Construction Execution Plan, construction methodologies, and work sequences.
Ensure effective planning and execution of civil, structural, mechanical, piping, electrical, instrumentation, telecom, and hook-up activities.
Coordinate construction activities to achieve project milestones and contractual deliverables.
Optimize manpower, equipment, and material resources to maximize productivity.
Construction Management
Direct day-to-day construction operations, ensuring safe, efficient, and high-quality execution.
Monitor construction progress against approved schedules and initiate corrective actions to address delays.
Ensure construction works are executed in accordance with IFC drawings, specifications, approved method statements, and applicable codes and standards.
Manage construction work fronts and ensure readiness before commencement of activities.
Coordinate offshore installation, module integration, brownfield modifications, and tie-in works.
Project Coordination & Interface Management
Coordinate closely with Engineering, Procurement, Planning, QA/QC, HSE, Logistics, Marine Operations, and Commissioning teams to ensure seamless project execution.
Resolve construction-related technical and interface issues with engineering and client representatives.
Manage interfaces between subcontractors, vendors, and multidisciplinary project teams.
Participate in construction planning meetings, progress reviews, and coordination meetings with ADNOC Offshore.
HSE & Quality Management
Ensure full compliance with ADNOC Offshore HSE requirements, company policies, and international standards.
Promote a strong safety culture and ensure all construction activities are executed without incidents.
Ensure compliance with Permit to Work (PTW), Job Safety Analysis (JSA), Task Risk Assessment (TRA), Lockout/Tagout (LOTO), SIMOPS, Working at Height, Confined Space Entry, Hot Work, and Lifting Operations requirements.
Ensure quality standards are achieved through compliance with approved Inspection and Test Plans (ITPs), procedures, and specifications.
Lead investigations into construction-related incidents and implement corrective and preventive actions.
Construction Progress & Project Controls
Monitor construction progress, productivity, and resource utilization against approved plans.
Review daily, weekly, and monthly construction reports and KPIs.
Identify construction risks, delays, and resource constraints, and develop recovery and mitigation plans.
Support project controls in forecasting manpower requirements, equipment utilization, and construction completion dates.
Ensure timely completion of construction milestones to support commissioning and project handover.
Subcontractor & Resource Management
Manage construction subcontractors and ensure compliance with contractual obligations.
Evaluate subcontractor performance, productivity, and quality of work.
Ensure adequate allocation of manpower, equipment, and construction materials.
Coordinate mobilization and demobilization of construction resources.
Monitor construction costs and support cost control initiatives.
Mechanical Completion & Commissioning Support
Ensure construction works are completed in accordance with Mechanical Completion requirements.
Coordinate with QA/QC and Commissioning teams to facilitate system handovers.
Ensure timely clearance of construction punch lists and deficiencies.
Support pre-commissioning, commissioning, and start-up activities by providing construction resources and technical assistance.
Client & Stakeholder Management
Serve as the primary construction focal point with ADNOC Offshore, consultants, subcontractors, and other stakeholders.
Participate in client inspections, audits, progress meetings, and technical reviews.
Ensure timely resolution of client comments, site instructions, and technical queries.
Maintain strong working relationships with all project stakeholders to achieve successful project delivery.
Leadership & Team Management
Lead, mentor, and develop multidisciplinary construction teams, fostering a culture of safety, quality, accountability, and continuous improvement.
Set performance objectives and monitor team productivity.
Promote effective communication and collaboration across all project disciplines.
Drive operational excellence by implementing best construction practices and continuous improvement initiatives.
Provide strategic leadership to ensure the safe, timely, and cost-effective delivery of the Umm Shaif Offshore EPC Project.
